Based on existing research works and proteomic databases, a new food biopeptide with the CTKSICTKKTLRTCPPIC sequence was designed. The possibility of its use in food products as a functional ingredient was studied. The method of molecular peptide transplantation was used to increase the peptide's resistance to proteolysis and bioavailability. A virtual screening of toxic compounds was carried out. It has been established that the peptide does not possess: acute toxicity, cardiotoxicity, hepatotoxicity, cytotoxicity. It is safe for oral use and, accordingly, can be used as a functional ingredient in food products of specialized and functional purpose.
