The article presents the results of the influence of various plant organs treatment with EM-Bio on growth and productivity of grain sorghum in the Amur region. The research was based on the growing demand for grain in the domestic feed market. The research was carried out in 2018–2019 at the experimental field of the Far Eastern State Agrarian University. The soil is meadow-chernozem-like. The hydrothermal coefficient was 2.1 in 2018, and 2.7 in 2019. The material for research was the variety of grain sorghum Brigga and the preparation EM-Bio. The experience scheme: 1) control – without treatment; 2) soaking of seeds in water; 3) soaking of seeds in a solution of EM-Bio; 4) soaking of seeds in a solution of EM-Bio, then plant spraying at the tillering stage with the solution of EM-Bio; 5) soaking of seeds in a solution of EM-Bio, then plant spraying at the tillering stage with the solution of EM-Bio, then plant spraying with a solution of EM-Bio in the stage of booting. It was found that in different meteorological conditions, the treatment of various plant organs of grain sorghum with EM-bio in the seed and vegetative period accelerates the emergence of seedlings for 2 to 3 days and the passage of the growth and development phases for 3 to 4 days. The treatment with EM-Bio provides an increase in the stem by 7–15 cm in height, allowing to increase the weight of plants by 16–55 g and grain yield by 0.17–0.36 t / ha. To significantly increase the grain productivity of sorghum, it is recommended to treat seeds and vegetating plants in the tillering and booting stages with EM-Bio.
