The article presents the results of studies on improving the efficiency of poultry feeding using local raw materials. The problem of poultry feeding is always very acute, as it ultimately affects the cost of production. This issue is especially relevant in remote regions, where the feed delivery for poultry is problematic due to high transport costs. In this situation, the most rational approach is that, whenever possible, the preparation of feed and poultry feeding, using local raw materials. In the Amur region, for these purposes, it is necessary to use soy as the main component, since it is rich in a large amount of microelements necessary for proper nutrition of the poultry. At the same time, the process of feed preparing for poultry nutrition is quite energy-intensive, which is also included in the cost price. Therefore, in order to reduce the cost of preparing feed, a shredder-mix producer of an original design was developed and introduced into production, which allows reducing energy consumption by averaging moisture in the composition.
