Abstract

It was established that the inclusion of the Extra Spicy phytobiotic feed additive in the broiler chicken diet at dosages of 0.35; 0.50 and 0.65 kg/t of feed stimulated poultry growth. The best results were proved in the group with a phytobiotic intake rate of 0.50 kg/t of feed. It has been experimentally confirmed that the absolute increase in live weight of broilers in this group is 3.6% higher than in the control group and ensures the complete safety of the livestock. The positive effect of phytobiotics on the digestibility of dry and organic matter of feed has been substantiated in physiological experience. The digestibility of crude protein increased by 1.34%, crude fat – by 5.17%, fiber – by 1.84%, nitrogen-free extractives – by 1.23%. At the same time, nitrogen losses with manure decreased by 10.6%. In broilers with an average dosage of phytobiotic in the diet, an increase in the amount of total protein in the blood was noted by 29.6%. The biologically active phytobiotic complex, against the background of a decrease in total lipids in the blood serum, increased their transport due to beta-lipoproteins by 19.7%, as well as the ratio of calcium and phosphorus to an optimal level. It was confirmed that with an increase in the dosage of phytobiotic in the diet of broilers, an increase in hemoglobin per unit of whole poultry blood was observed. It has been proven that the use of phytobiotics has reduced feed costs per unit of body weight gain by 5.9% in the low-dose group, by 8.0% in the medium-dose group and by 5.1% in the high-dose group. Profitability of production increased by 1.3%, 2.1% and 0.6%, respectively; the European meat production efficiency index increased by 55, 61 and 46 units, respectively.
