The technological scheme of separation of a batch of a mixture of buckwheat and soy grains is presented. The analysis of the geometric dimensions of buckwheat, soybeans, and grain impurities allowed us to select the shapes and sizes of the sieve openings. The signs of divisibility have been established and a technological scheme for separating buckwheat and soy grains has been developed. It includes purification from weeds and separation of the grain mixture. The tests were carried out on domestic grain cleaning equipment. The obtained research results allow us to conclude that the separation of a mixture of soybeans and buckwheat is economically feasible. The effect of separating a batch of grain mixtures weighing 50 tons was 541,360 rubles.
