Direction of research: Carrying out scientific research on biology, selection and technology of cultivation of agricultural crops, development of farming systems.

The main contribution to science: The optimal sowing dates for soybean varieties of different ripeness groups, which ensure the highest yield of seeds with high sowing and technological qualities have been studied.

The industrial technology for the cultivation of common beans for farms has been developed.

The assortment was selected and the technology of cultivation of spring triticale culture, a crop new to the region, has been developed.

The genetic and ecological specificity of biologically active substances of soybean varieties of the Far Eastern selection has been studied. The collection of soybean samples highly resistant to soybean cyst nematode has been created and the soybean varieties of the Far Eastern selection have been evaluated according to this indicator.

The comprehensive approach to the study of adaptive enzymes in the seeds and leaves of cultivated and wild soybeans in ontogeny has been implemented.

On the basis of generalized scientific research on crop cultivation technology and the survey data of region farms, an electronic program "Field Passport" has been created and introduced into production.

The results of the research were used in the development of: "Recommendations on the management system of the agro-industrial complex of the Amur region", "The farming system of the collective farm “Luch”", "The farming system of the Amur region", "The system of technologies and machines for the integrated mechanization of crop production in the Amur region".

Publications: Based on the results of scientific research, more than 150 scientific papers have been published, including 3 monographs, 7 methodological recommendations, 40 scientific articles in journals recommended by the Higher Attestation Commission, 2 textbooks with the stamp of Educational Methodical Association of Russian universities in agronomic education, the certificate of state registration of the program for creating passports for agricultural fields, 12 invention patents. The chief scientific editor of the scientific and practical journal "Far Eastern Agrarian Bulletin", included in the list of the Higher Attestation Commission since 01.12.2015, is the deputy chairman of the dissertation council for the defense of doctoral and candidate theses in the specialty 05.20.01 - Technologies and means of mechanization of agriculture (technical and agricultural sciences) at the Far Eastern State Agrarian University. The citation rate is 394, h-index is 8.

Supervision of postgraduate and doctoral students: 10 candidates of sciences and 2 doctors of sciences were prepared. At the moment 1 postgraduate student and 1 doctoral student are under the supervision.
