The scientific and practical journal Far Eastern agricultural journal publishes original scientific-theoretical, scientific-practical, review, and analytical articles on issues in the agro-industrial complex.

Publishes articles by researchers from various regions of Russia and international authors. The editorial board strives to further expand the geographic scope of publications, while maintaining one of the journal's main goals—to promote the development of the agro-industrial complex of the Far East through the prompt publication of the latest achievements in agronomy, animal science, veterinary science, technologies, machinery and equipment for the agro-industrial complex, and food technology.

The journal is aimed at a broad audience of agricultural professionals: scientists, researchers, teachers, managers, specialists, graduate students, and anyone interested in issues and processes in the agro-industrial complex.

The founder and publisher is the Far Eastern State Agrarian University.

Editor-in-Chief and Chairman of the Editorial Board is Pavel Viktorovich Tikhonchuk, Doctor of Agricultural Sciences, Professor, and Rector of the Far Eastern State Agrarian University.

The members of the editorial board and editorial board of the journal include leading experts from Russia and international scholars.

The journal was founded in 2007 as the "Bulletin of the Far Eastern State Agrarian University." In 2008, it was renamed the "Far Eastern Agricultural Journal."

Registered by the Federal Service for Supervision of Communications, Information Technology, and Mass Media (Roskomnadzor). Registration record PI No. FS 77-78057 dated March 27, 2020.

Print frequency: quarterly, 4 issues per year.

Since 2015, the Far Eastern Agrarian Bulletin has been included in the list of publications approved by the Higher Attestation Commission of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation, which publishes the works of candidates for the academic degrees of Doctor of Science and Candidate of Science in the following scientific specialties and corresponding branches of science:

Since 2022, the editorial board has been accepting articles for publication in the scientific specialty 4.3.3. Food Systems (Engineering Sciences).
